FIG’s TaChelle Lawson Named to Bar & Restaurant Advisory Board


Las Vegas, NV -- Bar & Restaurant Expo, formerly known as Nightclub & Bar Show, has selected TaChelle Lawson, founder and president of FIG Strategy & Consulting, to join the Expo’s advisory board as its newest member, effective immediately. 


The Bar & Restaurant Advisory Board provides strategic advice to the management of the Bar & Restaurant Expo, produced by Questex, and accompanying digital products. The advisory board’s mandate is to ensure that the event is providing world-class education and networking experience for its core target audience of bar and restaurant professionals.


The goal is to make Bar & Restaurant Expo a must-attend event that provides unrivaled experiences for the entire community.  Advisory board members are appointed to the board for a renewable term of up to two years.

Ms. Lawson founded FIG Strategy & Consulting in 2017 and has been instrumental in bringing DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) issues to the attention of business owners throughout the country.  She has worked with some of the world’s largest and most recognizable brands, among them Mercedes-Benz, NASCAR, Nike, Red Bull, and Louis Vuitton, who’ve all relied on her business acceleration and development expertise in diversity marketing to help drive revenue, increase brand awareness, and improve product positioning.


DEI certified by Cornell University and Diverse Business certified by Dartmouth College, Ms. Lawson is a member of the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council (WRMSDC), National Diversity Council, Clark County Business Development Advisory Council (BDAC), and UNLV’s Leadership & Social/Entrepreneurship Advisory Board.


Under her leadership, FIG utilizes the inherent power in diversity, strategic sourcing, and creativity to develop strategies and stories that richen, bolden and position its clients’ brand equity and brand experience for growth.
