Michael Sands is a FIG consultant who is a seasoned practitioner and provides organizations customized solutions for increasing performance through enabling leaders to build capacity, as well as providing support to organizations as they attempt to create systems and structures that create desired results. Michael provides technical assistance, training solutions, coaching and project management services to achieve outcomes. He is a “coach’s coach” as he is also a faculty member of the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Program. Georgetown coaches are trained in providing coaching support for both individuals addressing DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) issues, in addition to supporting comprehensive interventions. He has led and provided training services and consulting to the Veterans Administration, and provided training and facilitation for a Department of Defense leader development program and supervisory training for new supervisors in the Department of Defense. Michael is a U.S. Army veteran and served in various leadership positions in multiple locations.
